How To Give Towards Alive Wesleyan Church

Every Sunday during our worship service we have an offering time where we ask God to use the gifts he has given us for his glory. Then the ushers will pass a plate that encourages the body to give as they feel led by the Holy Spirit. If this is your first time here drop your completed visitor card in the plate or the locked boxes at the Welcome Centers. We want you to feel welcomed and there is no pressure to give. If you do want to give though here's how...

1.) You can give online by pressing the give button below. It will take you to our online giving service called tithe.ly
(We encourage anyone who uses tithe.ly to cover the fees so the Church benefits from the full use of your offering)

2.) You can leave your offering in the locked boxes on the Welcome Center. They are checked at the end of our Worship Service.

How Else To Support The Ministries of Alive Wesleyan Church

Storehouse Tithing: 
Storehouse tithing is a scriptural and practical performance of faithfully and regularly placing the tithe into that church to which the member belongs. Therefore, the financing of the church shall be based on the plan of storehouse tithing, and The Wesleyan Church shall be regarded by all its people as the storehouse. All who are a part of The Wesleyan Church are urged to contribute faithfully one-tenth of all their increase as a minimum financial obligation to the Lord and freewill offerings in addition as God has prospered them. Offerings help to support our mission as a church, especially our church staff. When we have pastors freed up from seeking worldly support for their daily finances they are freed to fully support the church and the mission God has called them to.

Volunteering Time:
Imagine for a moment that your time was measured like your finances are in tithing. Every person has about 116 waking hours out of 168 hours total each week. Now most have a full time job that pulls them away from those waking hours to a job. That makes our waking hours limited to about 56-76 hours each week that we could spend on other activities. If every disciple was to commit 5 to 8 hours a week to the purposes of the local church we would see a revival like no other. Some who are retired could give even more than that! You could be giving the church a gift of $75 to $100 a week that would be paid to someone else to do the job you volunteer for ($15/hour at 5 hours). Your time donation is just as essential to the prosperity of Alive Wesleyan.

Sharing Resources:
Something we often forget is that we have an abundance of resources and goods in America. We have cars, food supplies, shovels, and various equipment that could bless the church. When we share what we have we live out life like the early apostles did in Jerusalem. These shared resources could be 1000s to 10s of 1000s worth of value to the mission of Alive. When we share, all are blessed and we taste a bit of what Heaven is going to be like.
