What To Expect

Our services begin with announcements as well as a time of worship to celebrate Jesus together. During our last song we encourage people to respond through prayer and praise in a variety of ways such as kneeling at the Altar, dropping a stone of praise in our praise jar, or verbally sharing a prayer request during our pastoral prayer time. All of these forms are optional but we believe they help us to draw closer to God as a church family. After that one of our pastors will speak for about 30 minutes sharing an inspirational, practical, and relevant truth from God’s Word. Be sure to stop by our Welcome Center so we can greet you - feel free to mingle in our café before or after the service to grab a cup of coffee and meet some of the other folks who call Alive Wesleyan Church their home.

What Time Do Services Start?
Sunday worship service begins at 10:30AM but we encourage you to arrive at least 15 minutes early so you can find your seat and get comfortable. There is coffee and assorted snacks available at 10AM in the Cafe.

How Long Are The Worship Services?
Our services are approximately one hour long.

What Should I Wear?
We want you to feel comfortable here. Our congregation wears anything from T-shirts, shorts, and sandals to their Sunday best. It’s completely up to you!

Where Should My Kids Go?
We offer a variety of children's programs on Sunday mornings. We have nursery (Newborn - 3 yrs old) during Sunday school Classes and our worship service. The nursery is  located on the lower floor of the building. We also offer Sunday School classes for Pre-K through 12th Grade at 9AM and a Children's Church called Discovery Kids during the 10:30AM service. Children are dismissed from the Worship Service after our praise and worship time.

Do You Have A Child Safety Plan?
Our volunteers and staff are vetted through an extensive Background Check to provide your family a safe and secure environment. All volunteers are also approved by our Local Board of Administration to serve in any form of Children's ministry. What are your Office Hours?
Our office administrator, Clar Wilkinson is available to answer questions in the church office Tuesday through Fridays from 9AM to 12PM. Our pastors are in and out the office throughout the week but are available to speak as needed.
